For our client, a leading company in consulting and digital transformation, we are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our App Cockpit team, contributing to the development of scalable and robust applications. This role is ideal for someone with solid backend experience and a good understanding of cloud and distributed systems.

Project information:

Work Setup: 100% remote work
Rate: 120 PLN/hour net + VAT (B2B contract)
Languages: English (B2+ Required)
Start date: ASAP/ depending on candidate availability

Project scope:

Develop and maintain backend services using Java
Write and optimize SQL queries
Implement unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
Collaborate with frontend developers; basic knowledge of frontend frameworks is expected
Work with Docker containers and cloud environments (preferably AWS)
Apply design patterns and best practices in software development
Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems

Salary:

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java
Solid understanding of SQL
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
Basic knowledge of at least one frontend framework
Hands-on experience with Docker
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Knowledge of design patterns
Experience working with distributed systems

Nice to have:

Experience with Angular
Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s)
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Understanding of NoSQL databases
Experience in microservices architecture or system design
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
