Payroll Specialist (German Market)

We\'re seeking an experienced payroll expert to take ownership of German payroll operations within our international team. In this role, you\'ll ensure compliant and accurate payroll delivery, collaborate with external providers and support process improvements across the region.

 

Project information:

  • Location: GdaÅ„sk; hybrid working model
  • Type of employment: long-term contract of employment
  • Languages: English
  • Working hours: Mon-Fr (business working hours)
  • Salary range: 13000 - 15000 PLN gross (depending on the years of experience)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly German payroll and statutory requirements

  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to drive accuracy and efficiency

  • Act as a go-to contact for payroll queries and audits

  • Provide reports, reconciliations and support on regional payroll initiatives

  • Contribute to process improvements and cross-country payroll support

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience, including hands-on work with German payroll

  • Solid knowledge of German payroll law and compliance

  • Fluent English 

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Detail-focused, collaborative and problem-solving mindset
