Responsibilitites:
Design and integration of virtual desktop systems and services
Software porting, installation and system decommissioning activities
Monitoring day-to-day operation of VDI environments to ensure performance and availability
Performing system acceptance tests and user experience evaluations
Gathering and responding to user feedback
Coordinating communication and documentation related to system status and updates
Supporting users and business teams in daily use of VDI platforms
Collaborating with other IT departments and vendors to ensure system health, stability and continuous improvement
Participating in technical and security audits, addressing and fixing any identified issues
Driving innovation and enhancement within the VDI and Azure workspace ecosystem
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture and FSLogix
Experience with Azure AD, IAM and RBAC
Understanding of Azure networking, DNS, firewalls, Azure Files & Blobs
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation
Skilled in Windows OS imaging and customization
Application deployment via MSIX packaging and AppAttach
Hands-on with VDI management, troubleshooting and hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure)
Experience with Windows-based VDI services and performance tuning
Solid networking, troubleshooting and application support skills
