Mainframe Customer Success Specialist

For our client, we are looking for a Customer Success Specialistwith a strong background in Mainframe systems to join our team. The role focuses on driving successful outcomes for customers by maximizing the value of their investment, ensuring full adoption of solutions, and aligning our capabilities with their business goals.

Your tasks:

  • Ensure customers achieve maximum value from their solutions, fully utilize their entitlements, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to manage assigned accounts and drive customer success and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers define business roadmaps and transformation strategies.
  • Provide guidance on governance, change management, and adoption best practices.
  • Identify risks to customer success and develop mitigation plans.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues, coordinating across internal teams to resolve them.
  • Advocate for the customer by influencing product direction, service offerings, and internal processes.
  • Support the contract renewal process and help minimize customer attrition.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable best practices that enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with z/OS systems or major subsystems (especially DB2).
  • Hands-on experience with BMC Mainview products.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships, including at the executive level.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with complex, enterprise-level accounts.
  • Comfortable leading customer meetings and workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor"s degree in Computer Systems or related field, or equivalent professional experience in systems/application programming.
