Technical Support Analyst (Mainframe - DevX)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support for DevX solutions, specifically COBOL debugging tools in TSO and CICS environments
  • Partner with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve issues related to COBOL program execution, compiling, and debugging
  • Work across Windows and mainframe systems to install, configure, and recreate real-world customer scenarios, accelerating fix resolution and product quality
  • Act as a key enabler of a seamless developer experience by managing support requests and delivering timely, clear, and actionable guidance
  • Document all support activity with precision—from initial issue through resolution—helping grow our shared knowledge base and improve team efficiency

Requirements:

  • You have hands-on experience with COBOL programming and debugging in TSO and CICS environments
  • You are comfortable working across both mainframe and Windows platforms, with strong troubleshooting skills
  • You understand the needs of developers and are passionate about enabling great developer experiences
  • You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality, customer-centric support
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly articulate technical concepts to a range of audiences
  • You are open to participating in occasional on-call support during evenings and weekends as part of a team rotation
