Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available OpenShift Container Platform solutions.
Lead cloud-native transformation initiatives involving containerization, microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps pipelines.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, platform engineers, and DevOps teams to align solutions with business needs.
Define and enforce OpenShift governance policies, including RBAC, multitenancy, networking, and security.
Develop architecture artifacts including HLDs, LLDs, roadmaps, and runbooks.
Work closely with product owners and technical leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct architecture reviews and performance assessments of OpenShift clusters.
Stay current with Red Hat ecosystem developments and advise on platform upgrades and integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) and Kubernetes architecture.
Strong knowledge of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Helm, Operators, Istio/Service Mesh, and GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, image registries, and security hardening.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration / OpenShift Architect
Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) / Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD)
AWS/Azure/GCP Architect certifications are a plus
