The Business Solutions Architect responsibility is to comprehensively position products and services as a complete and integrated solution applicable to the customer business requirements. For this s/he engages with customers in a consultative selling process in which s/he builds relationships with key decision makers (VP level and above) and becomes a trusted advisor to the customer to deliver business value through company’s solutions. S/he presents, integrates, and demonstrates all products, technologies, solutions, discuss general business value, and provide consultative selling approach at the various customer levels.

Project scope:
  • Pre-assessment of the Airline business context and needs: understand the Airline business model, the strategic context and the key drivers for its evolution;  understand the Airline industry trends and the key market evolution
  • Business solution architecture management
  • Conducting impact analysis, prioritizing the requirements and making requirement recommendations to the business
  • Collaborating with Pre Sales Managers to identify system impacts and interdependencies for proposed solutions
  • Performing detailed analysis of business and technical processes and requirements
  • Ensuring integration of requirements into the process optimization solutions
  • Reviewing and recommending available or industry standard processes, tools and technologies as appropriate to deliver an overall solution
  • Implementing cause/effect analysis methodologies and metrics on business process improvements
  • Contributing to the creation of the business cases for new solutions in order to gain approval to move forward
  • Capture, document and analyze the key Customer requirements based on Airline’s strategy & main pain-points, market conditions and key drivers for evolution
  • Design the best corresponding business solution architecture (IT solutions, services, external solutions) and create corresponding Business Blue Print
  • Collaborate with Business Process experts to get the buy in of the solution by the customer and to minimize impacts on company’s products (customization)
  • Lead and guide stakeholders interacting with the customer throughout the solution definition
  • Identify and manage all potential competitive threats and risk associated with the solution
  • Produce solution-related documentation
  • Participate in the Portfolio evolution
  • Whenever possible, analyze solution offerings of competitors and inform Product Management and IT Marketing accordingly

Wymagania podstawowe

Requirements :
  • University degree (preferably in Business Administration and/or Sales & Marketing)
  • Proficiency in English (written & spoken), additional languages would be an asset
  • Overall understanding of the Airline IT solutions
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of Airline IT Solutions /Airline  product strategy
  • Additional Airline Industry background is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in client facing job roles
